It’s the silly season, the time to part ways with the old team and move on to greener pastures, of sorts. Who’s leaving who and who’s going where for the 2025 season and beyond? Here’s what we know so far …

Mateo Carmona (COL) has traded in his Chase, and will be riding for Staystrong in 2025.

 

Spencer Cole (USA) and Supercross BMX are parting ways in 2025 when he will be teaming with with Florida based J & R Bicycles and riding their brand, Speed Co.

 

Ross Cullen (GBR) has announced he has departed Team TVE Sport and will be riding for UK based team, Bestrong, in 2025 … as of yet he hasn’t shared what that is. He has also announced a deal with Schwalbe Tyres UK.

 

Joris Daudet (FRA) answers the question of ‘what next’ when he signed a two year extension with Chase Bicycles … that would take him into the Oylmpic qualification period. We guess LA 2028 is on the cards.

 

The Dutch National Team part ways with Meybo Bikes after years of success with the brand. It sounds like riders can now find individual bike sponsors.

 

Carly Kane (USA) extends her contract with Huffy Bicycles until the end of 2026.

 

Nic Long (USA) joins Huffy Bicycles after the Haro Race Team leaves the sport.

 

Romain Mahieu (FRA) is departing SpeedCo for the 2025 season but has yet to announce his new home.

 

Bella May (AUS) has signed a deal with the World Prophecy BMX Team which will run into the 2028 LA Olympics. Bella had been on a Prophecy BMX prior to the deal.

 

Ethan Popovich (USA) joins Huffy Bicycles after the Haro Race Team leaves the sport.

 

Corey Reid (USA) returns to Supercross BMX for 2025 and is racing in the Vet Pro class.

 

Lauren Reynolds (AUS) announced she has extended her contract with Ssquared Bicycles.

 

Payton Ridenour (USA) and Mongoose Bikes have parted company, no news yet on who P-Nut will be riding for in 2025.

 

BMX Sarrians (FRA) have announced that they are parting ways with GT Bicycels for the 2025 season, and to watch out for a new partner.

 

Corben Sharrah (USA) and Daylight Cycles have announced that after 9 seasons together, Corben has decided to make a change for the 2025 season. The BioLab-Box Elite Team have announced that Corben will be riding for them starting at the USA BMX Grands in 2024.

 

Merel Smulders (NED) has announced that a ‘it’s time for a change’ and that she will no longer be a part of Team TVE Sport … as of yet we don’t know whats next but she has said an announcement is coming in mid January.

 

Maris Strombergs (LAT) returns to Supercross BMX in a ‘captaincy’ roll along side Bubba Harris. Although, would you bet against signature parts and the likes in the future?

 

Kye Whyte (GBR) will be looking for a new ride in 2025 after GT Bicycles have been put on hold by thier parent company.
