Australia’s Crisp Bros. Racing have entered the World of Carbon BMX frames with the CBR04-C. The company has been working on the frame, on and off, since 2021 and currently have four prototypes out being tested by team riders.
Crisp Bros. Racing expects to start taking pre-orders in July 2026, once testing is complete. Once released the CBR04-C will come in an impressive amount sizes, Pro | PXL | PXXL | PXXL+ | PXXXL | CruiserXL & XXL. The ‘performance blue with neon orange/black decals’ prototype shown here, an PXXL+ with a top tube length of 22.25”, belongs to Zane Bourke.
The frame details we know so far …
– Full carbon monocoque design constructed from premium Toray T800+T1100 carbon fibre with ‘self-developed specialised resin’. Crisp Bros. claim it provides exceptional tensile strength and performance.
– Strengthened Bottom Bracket and head tube areas, ‘exceeding the strength of competitors’ frames by more than 30%’.
– Oversized rear back end to suit 10mm & 15mm axles, with over 40mm of adjustment.
– 27.2 integrated seat clamp setup.
– Euro BB & tapered head tube.
– Chainstays can accommodate up to a 53t chainring.
