Latvia’s Kristaps Veksa has been racing BMX bikes since 1999. Since then he’s been Latvian National Champion multiple times, finished third overall in the UEC Euro Cup in Elite Men and done extremely well in the increasingly popular UCI Pump Track World Championships.
For 2023 Kristaps is again going to focus on the European Cup and the Pump Track series, but he also has one eye on the Worlds in Glasgow. He’ll be doing all that on this beautiful Radio Solar Carbon Prototype. It’s the company’s first foray into a disc specific Carbon frame … when we asked how the frame feels to ride, Kristaps responded, ‘the frame feels very light to do pickups and wheelies. Overall feels very easy and comfy to move the bike the direction I need. I really like the new frame and will be racing races with it as soon as possible. Also, Carbon added stiffness for the frame feels much more flowy for example in pump track.’
